Dr. Jared Knopman was the keynote speaker at the 14th annual “Current Techniques in the Treatment of Cranial and Spinal Disorders” Symposium, held Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, Colorado. The CME conference was jointly provided by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and the Justin Parker Neurological Institute.
Dr. Knopman’s keynote address was on “Innovations in Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Surgery.” Dr. Knopman, a leader in the development and advancement of ground-breaking new treatment options for patients with cerebrovascular disorders, has dual expertise in both open neurosurgical and minimally invasive interventional techniques. Dr. Knopman has done specialized fellowship training in endovascular neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology at Weill Cornell Medical College and has surgical and interventional expertise in treating a diverse array of diseases of the brain and spine.
