Global Health

We take seriously our commitment to improving health care and saving lives around the world. Our faculty members regularly travel to international meetings and courses to help train surgeons in other countries how to treat patients using locally available tools and technology. We are pioneers in international fellowship programs, both sending western-trained doctors to low- and middle-income countries and bringing doctors from underserved nations here to Weill Cornell Medicine to train.
