In his new role as President, he aims to continue the society’s mission of promoting excellence in healthcare for Chinese Americans and other underserved populations. “CAMS is not just a professional society, but a home for physicians of different backgrounds, training and expertise to unite through a common goal,” Dr. Lin said.
Looking forward, Dr. Lin plans to expand CAMS’ initiatives in several key areas. These include:
Dr. Lin expressed gratitude to the society’s outgoing President, Dr. Alex J. Ky, and to his mentors who supported him throughout his CAMS journey, including Drs. Paul Lee, Victor Chang, David Chiu and Warren Chin. “As President, I will continue their legacy and carry out CAMS’ mission with dedication and pride,” he said.
Under Dr. Lin’s leadership, CAMS is poised to enter a new chapter of growth, collaboration and community impact.
Founded to support Chinese American physicians and medical students, CAMS provides professional development, networking, mentorship and community service opportunities while promoting excellence in healthcare for Asian American communities.
