Middleweight boxer Daniel Jacobs won a unanimous decision over Luis Arias at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York's Long Island on Saturday — but for Dr. Roger Härtl, the evening will remain memorable for the shout-out he got from his former patient in the post-bout interview. Pointing out Dr. Härtl from the ring, Jacobs called his neurosurgeon "the man who saved my life." Several years ago, Dr. Härtl removed a tumor from Jacobs's spine, restoring him to health and to the boxing ring. Watch the shout-out in the video below:
