Neal S. Parikh, M.D., M.S., is an Assistant Professor of Neurology specializing in vascular neurology. He provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to patients with stroke, transient ischemic attack, and other vascular neurology conditions. His research interests include stroke prevention and epidemiology, with a focus on understanding the complex interplay between medical conditions and stroke. Other research topics include stroke systems of care, posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome, and smoking cessation in patients with cerebrovascular disease. His work has been published in leading journals such as JAMA Neurology, Neurology, and Stroke. His neuro-epidemiology training program fellowship was funded by an NIH T32 training grant. He serves on the editorial board of Stroke.
