Dr. Kurt Yaeger is a dual-trained endovascular Neurosurgeon, specializing in treating vascular disorders of the brain and spine. He also has a special interest in neurological conditions with either excess cerebrospinal fluid or spinal fluid leaks. He completed residency and fellowship training in neurosurgery and endovascular neurosurgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. At Mount Sinai, he also completed a BioDesign fellowship, during which time he invented and patented a new catheter for the minimally invasive treatment of brain AVMs and aneurysms. Prior to residency, he attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. For his undergraduate degree in Biology, Dr. Yaeger attended Lafayette College in Easton, PA, and he is originally from the north shore of Boston, MA.
