Julia Rich is a board-certified physician assistant who assists in surgery and provides care for neurosurgical inpatients at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian. A graduate of the Mercy College master’s degree Physician Assistant program, Julia completed her neuroscience training at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Julia obtained a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology and minor in Spanish from Northeastern University. She completed a research internship at the Molecular Cardiology Research Institute at Tufts Medical Center and the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Julia also provided global healthcare through work at a nonprofit organization for HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis in Tanzania and translational services for physicians in Honduras. Julia received a Master of Science in the Biological and Physical Sciences from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University. Julia connected with Dance for Parkinson's Disease and the Memory Tree, where she developed a passion for neurological disorders. As a neurosurgery PA, Julia is committed to taking a patient-centered approach and is dedicated to providing exceptional and accessible care to patients and their families.
