Dr. Gabriella Tosto-D’Antonio is the chief nurse practitioner in neurological surgery, and leads a dynamic team of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses in the outpatient setting. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in the evaluation and treatment of adult and geriatric patients before and after neurosurgical procedures.
She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Masters degrees from Columbia University, and is currently completing her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Boston University’s Questrom’s School of Business. Prior to joining the Weill Cornell Medicine team, Dr. Tosto-D’Antonio served as the lead cerebrovascular nurse practitioner at Columbia University Medical Center’s Department of Neurosurgery. As a registered nurse, she had the privilege of working with pediatric patients living with neuromuscular disorders in the division of Pediatric Neurology at CHONY/Columbia University Medical Center. She has extensive research experience, including conducting clinical trials at the Columbia University Medical Center Division of Neuroimmunology and Kessler Foundation.
Dr. Tosto-D’Antonio is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). She is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals, serving as a preceptor for nursing and medical students, and as an ambassador for high school students in Washington Heights interested in STEM careers through the CU-HERE program.
