Mingrui Zhao is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience Research in Neurological Surgery in the Epilepsy Research Laboratory. He obtained his Ph.D. in neuropharmacology from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College in China.
Dr. Zhao’s research focuses on the optical brain mapping of epilepsy, the neocortical microcircuitry in epilepsy, the neurovascular coupling mechanism of neurological diseases, and therapeutic approaches to epilepsy including femtosecond laser ablation and neural progenitors transplantation.
