Linzey Smith, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a clinical speech-language pathologist in the Department of Otolaryngology Weill Cornell Medical College. Ms. Smith earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Redlands in California and her Master of Arts from Long Island University, Post. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is licensed in New York State. She also holds her Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disability (TSSLD) Certificate. She specializes in speech-language therapy for pediatric patients.
As a member of the Craniofacial Program team, Ms. Smith works to diagnose and treat communication disorders. She meets with patients and their families at regular intervals throughout all phases of treatment and provides parents with information regarding normal speech and language development. She performs comprehensive, periodic assessments of articulation, language, resonance, and voice using the most up-to-date evaluation methods and criteria in order to identify areas of concern and make appropriate recommendations for intervention.
