Dr. Yahya Atalay, a board-certified neurologist specializing in vascular neurology, is the site director for the Mobile Stroke Treatment Unit at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist. Dr. Atalay earned his medical degree at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Turkey, then completed his neurology residency at Weill Cornell Medical College. He then completed fellowship training in both vascular neurology and interventional neuroradiology, also at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Atalay has published a number of articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at national conferences. He works with the Weill Cornell Medicine brain and spine team at NYP Brooklyn Methodist caring for patients with a wide range of acute neurological conditions.
