Andrea Wolf is a board-certified physician assistant who provides care for neurosurgical inpatients at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian. A graduate of Stony Brook University’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) program, Andrea completed her surgical training at a variety of hospitals throughout Long Island and New York City, including general surgery at NYP Lower Manhattan and orthopedic surgery at Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She received recognition for academic excellence as a member of the Alpha Pi National Physician Assistant Honor Society.
Andrea earned her undergraduate degree in cell and molecular biology at Binghamton University. While on campus she worked in both organic chemistry and cellular biology laboratories as a researcher to complete her internship through Howard Hughes Medical Institute. As an undergraduate student she completed Harpur College’s physician mentorship program in association with Winthrop Hospital and Mount Sinai Health System.
As a post-graduate, Andrea earned her EMT-CC certification in association with Nassau University Medical Center, where she acquired experience with direct patient care in the operating room, emergency room, and Nassau County ambulances. She utilized this certification to work and volunteer for the 911 system for several years. Simultaneously, Andrea worked as an Emergency Department Technician at NYU Winthrop, where she assisted with trauma and critical care patients.
As a neurosurgical PA, Andrea is dedicated to serving her community and is committed to providing exceptional perioperative care to her patients and their families.
