Taylor Sekyra is a board-certified physician assistant who provides care for neurological surgery inpatients at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Albany Medical College, where she completed clinical training across medical and surgical specialties, including neurological surgery and developed a strong interest in the field.
Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Washington, where she competed as a Division I women’s soccer student-athlete. While in college, she interned for The Sports Institute at UW Medicine, contributing to research and program development focused on sports safety and concussion prevention. After graduation, she played professional soccer in Iceland before gaining clinical and research experience in orthopedic trauma as a nursing assistant and medical scribe.
Taylor is dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care and collaborating to support patients and their families throughout their hospital stay.
