Gabriella Barry

Physician Assistant

Gabriella Barry is a board-certified physician assistant who provides care for neurosurgical inpatients at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian. Gabriella is a graduate of Barry University’s Master of Clinical Medical Science degree where she gained her medical and surgical training throughout the hospitals and underserved areas of South Florida. She gained interest in neurosurgery after completing training in pediatric neurosurgery and trauma surgery at a level 1 trauma center.

Gabriella earned her undergraduate degree in biology and minor in neuroscience from the Honors College at the College of Charleston. Simultaneously, she completed neuroscience research for four years in drug addiction, anxiety, and depression at the Medical University of South Carolina, resulting in multiple publications.

After developing an interest in medical ethics, she completed her Master of Arts in Ethics and Society at Fordham University and was a graduate assistant. As a post-graduate, Gabriella worked as a medical assistant in a private dermatology practice specializing in Mohs surgery and general dermatology. 

Gabriella is dedicated to combining her medical, surgical, research and ethics training to best server her neurosurgical patients.
