The neurosurgical team of the Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center is proud to participate in the Mission in Tanzania, which includes an annual trip to the East African nation to train local doctors to provide improved patient care. This year's trip included Dr. Philip E. Stieg, department chairman and Neurosurgeon-in-Chief; Dr. Roger Härtl, chief of spine surgery and neurotrauma; and Dr. Jeffrey Greenfield, pediatric neurosurgeon.
