The annual hospital ratings issue of U.S. News & World Report, released today, once again names NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital the #1 hospital in New York. This makes 17 years in a row for this distinction. We have also been named to the Best Hospitals Honor Roll – a list of the top 20 hospitals in the nation that takes specialty care into account.
The Neurology and Neurosurgery service here is ranked as #4 in the nation, behind only Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and Mass General, and ahead of such esteemed facilities as the Cleveland Clinic and UCSF. We are extremely proud of our place in these national rankings, and of the world-class faculty of neurosurgeons, interventional radiologists, stereotactic radiosurgeons, neuropsychologists, neuro-endocrinologists, and surgical and clinical neuro-oncologists whose expertise is what makes us the top-ranked facility that we are.
