The 2019 U.S. News & World Report hospital rankings names NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital the #1 hospital in New York – that’s 19 years in a row for this distinction. The hospital ranks #5 in the United States and has also been named to the Best Hospitals Honor Roll – a list of the top 20 hospitals in the nation that takes specialty care into account.
The Neurology and Neurosurgery service here is ranked as #1 in New York and #4 in the nation, behind only Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, and UCSF Medical Center and ahead of such esteemed facilities as UCLA, NYU, and Cedars-Sinai.
