Administrative assistant Harry Linen was named the winner of the Neurosurgery Outstanding Service Award for Q4 2019 for his work at the Weill Cornell Medicine Brain and Spine Center. Harry serves as Administrative Assistant to the chair, Dr. Philip Stieg.
Every quarter, the Neurosurgery Outstanding Service Award spotlights a member of the Department of Neurological Surgery who goes above and beyond to assist our physicians, patients, and colleagues. The award calls out team members who exemplify the core values of the department, including collegiality/teamwork, compassion, perseverance/commitment, and leadership.
Harry was nominated by his co-workers, who wrote that “Harry is always a team player” and “For us in the administrative team, Harry exemplifies leadership by being a positive team player. I admire his work ethic and communication style.”
Congratulations again to Harry for displaying excellence in the core values of the department. He, together with previous and future winners, will be honored on a plaque located in the Neurological Surgery conference room.
