Neurosurgeon-in-Chief Dr. Philip Stieg was once again honored as a Champion of Heart and Stroke at the 2013 New York City Heart Ball. The Heart Ball, the premier event of the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, was held at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York on June 5. The annual gathering brings together business leaders, physicians, professionals, philanthropists, and other prominent community members to help raise funds for heart and stroke research.
