Congratulations to Dr. Michael Kaplitt, our Vice Chair for Research, who was awarded a Research Supplement to Promote Diversity from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). Diversity supplements are added to existing grants to increase the participation of scientists from underrepresented groups in biomedical research. Dr. Kaplitt’s award is for Innocent Njoku and covers the period from March 1, 2013, to February 28, 2014.
