Babacar Cisse, MD, PhD, recently spoke with Dr. Thomas H. Lee, chief medical officer of Press Ganey Associates, on the podcast “Good Doctors: Stories from the Heart of Health Care” about his life and career. In an episode called “A Burning Candle,” Dr. Cisse describes his amazing journey from Senegal to New York, his struggles to get a foothold in the United States, and his philosophy about taking care of his patients.
