Peter Morgenstern, M.D., has graduated from his seven-year neurosurgical training program at Weill Cornell Medicine, which he completed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr Morgenstern is continuing on to Seattle Children’s Hospital to complete a one-year pediatric neurosurgery fellowship there.
Dr. Brenton Pennicooke, who has completed six years of residency, will spend his final year of training here at Weill Cornell Medicine in an enfolded fellowship in spinal surgery.
Maricruz Rivera, M.D., Ph.D, and Gary Kocharian, M.D. will join the department of Neurological Surgery as first-year residents. Dr. Rivera completed her MD and PhD degrees from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and Dr. Kocharian completed his MD here at Weill Cornell. (More about Drs. Rivera and Kocharian)
