Yvonne Knapp, M.S., CCC, has been a clinical speech-language pathologist working in the hospital, university, and private practice settings for 14 years. She holds a B.A. degree from Columbia College, Columbia University, an M.S. degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, is licensed in New York State, and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Prior to working at Weill Medical College, Yvonne served as Supervisor of Speech Pathology in the Department of Communication Disorders at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital (MEETH). She specializes in craniofacial speech disorders, voice disorders, and voice rehabilitation for laryngectomized individuals. She has served as a speech pathology consultant on the Craniofacial and Children's Reconstructive Surgery team at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in the past, and maintains an active role at Long Island University/C.W. Post, where she serves as an Adjunct Professor and as Supervisor of the Voice & Resonance Center. Yvonne maintains memberships in ASHA, the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NYSSLHA), the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA), and the Cleft Palate Foundation (CPF).
