Giselle Payamps is a registered nurse on Dr. Riew’s team at Och Spine at NewYork-Presbyterian at the Weill Cornell Medicine Center for Comprehensive Spine Care. Giselle earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Penn State University, where anatomy and physiology were of most interest to her and where she taught anatomy as a lead lab teaching assistant. Giselle is currently in the process of becoming certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer with a specialization in corrective exercise, as well as a certified nutrition coach.
Giselle’s focus as a registered nurse is to educate patients about their surgical procedures, provide compassionate and personalized care, and to ensure that the experience from pre-surgery to recovery is a smooth and positive one. She is thrilled to be part of a team that is incredibly knowledgeable and prioritizes patient care and satisfaction.
